You must install this before you can use any of the patches. (NetBattle 0.9.7 / NetBattle 0.9.6 patch to stop RTEs). NetBattle 0.9.7 (exe only): Click here
To install NetBattle 0.9.7, make sure all netbattle windows are closed, and if you are running a server, make sure it is closed too. Then open My computer, Disk C, Program Files, then from the patch file, drag and drop the pokebattle exe file into the netbattle folder. For more help read the "README FIRST" text file. Scripting in NetBattle will be easy to learn if you already know the programming language Visual Basic. If you wish to run a server, it is recommended you learn how to script. Below are the downloads for two scripting FAQs. The first one is Bayleef's updated version, the second one of MasamuneXGP's original. You should read Bayleef's one, because it has a few new functions which were only added to NetBattle when Diamond/Pearl Pokemon were added. You can get help with scripting from experienced scripters in the Scripting Help forum.
